TEXANS/PATS- Luckily, we bet the Pats hard on Thursday. I thought New England would win by at least 7, but nobody saw THAT coming. Can you say uncontested #1 team in the NFL?
LIONS/CARDS- I can't believe it. My heaviest bet of the week is on...GULP...the Detroit Lions. They are playing the Cards, who don't even look like an NFL team. They don't have a QB. They can't score 7 points in any given game. Detroit is frustrated beyond belief and will take it out in a meaningless win. With a hefty straight-up bet along with a few parlays for the week, I'm praying that the Lions don't even make this one a sweat. Please, for one week, forget who you are. Please.
PANTHERS/CHARGERS- Both teams are out of the playoff picture but coming off huge upsets with all kinds of playoff implications...impressive. I won't pretend to think I know who wins this game. Carolina has upset potential in every game they play and the Chargers historically go on late-season runs. Should actually be a fun one.
SEAHAWKS/BILLS- Even though they are on the road, I take Seattle all day in this one. Russell Wilson continues his rookie tear and they are coming off giving Arizona the beating of their lives. 58-0??? Unreal. With a win here, Seattle can make their odds at a playoff spot look really good about now.
BENGALS/EAGLES- Philly is coming off a win and hosts the Bengals at home. Nick Foles will be doing his thing, but as high as I am on him, I don't think it will be enough to keep the playoff-hungry Bengals from edging out a close win on the road.
GIANTS/FALCONS- We all got a laugh at the Falcons last week. You knew they were due for a loss, but to Cam? Look for them to lose another one against the red hot Giants who look to have found their game. Once again, history is on their side and, as I've said before, this is that time of year that they...
VIQUEENS/RAMS- Boring game? Yes, except for AP. Let's see if he can rush for another 500 yards this game. I don't care who the defense is. Let's see if the Rams can make the final score something like 11-2 lol
JAGS/DOLPHINS- Jags let me down last week, I thought they could pull off a narrow win against the Jets, but Chad Henne has come back down to earth and, quite frankly, sucks. The Dolphins are not good, but Tannehill and the defense will pull out a boring and meaningless win at home.
PACKERS/BEARS- Bet this one all day. Chicago is at home and has Alshon Jeffery back, but da'Bears are in trouble. They are playing the worst football of the year going into the playoffs, and that is not what you want your team to be doing. Aaron and the Pack should continue to heat up and should have Clay back as well. -3...all day. Chicago is an overrated and sinking team.
SKINS/BROWNS- Skins win. RG3 looks like he's going to play, but I'm hoping Weeden and Richardson put up a good fight vying for their 4th consecutive win, which would mean ridiculous times in Cleveland...you know, because they have nothing else.
BRONCOS/RAVENS- I'm betting my Broncos hard again this week, and I hope they don't let me down against a hugely overrated Ravens team. The spread is only -3 which shouldn't be a problem, especially with the way Denver is running on all cylinders. In my opinion, they're the #2 team behind the Patriots right now. Peyton wins the MVP and super-sophomore Von Miller leads this lethal defense as Denver wins out for the year.
TEXANS/COLTS- Interesting game. The Texans just got humiliated on Monday Night Football and Luck continues to find insane ways to lead his team to improbable victories. But J.J. Watt and company are not happy and will take it all out on Indy, winning this one decisively on the road.
BUCS/SAINTS- Great game with no implications? The Bucs kissed their playoff hopes goodbye with a loss to the Eagles last week. The Saints kissed their playoff hopes goodbye weeks ago. Shootout? I think so. Would love to see another strong game from...the Muscle Hamster!!
STEELERS/COWBOYS- Two teams who love to epically fail. Pitt is scrambling for a playoff spot, and lost to the Chargers immediately after getting Big Ben back. Dallas is coming off a HUGE win against the red hot Bengals in Cincy, but lost their biggest offensive threat and their star rookie corner. If those two are out, you have to like the Steelers in this one.
CHIEFS/RAIDERS- lol
49ERS/PATS- New England at home = 49ers lose. Wes Welker will hit 1,000 receptions in this game. Congrats, big guy.
JETS/TITANS- THIS IS OUR MONDAY NIGHT GAME??? FOR THE LOVE OF BACON...

Dude, I'm glad to see that you agree with the Pats at #1 and Broncos at #2...not to mention that you share my love for what the Giants are doing right now.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I don't know why you're congratulating Welker for his reception record....you needed him to get that last week, haha.
