Jets at Patriots: Patriots. I was really surprised that this game
was as close as it was. The Patriots really need to get things together
if they want to be successful this year . . . granted, they probably
can still win the AFC East with the way they're playing.
Panthers
at Bills: Panthers. The Panthers CANNOT afford to lose this game.
While the Bills looked good against the Patriots, the Panthers are a
better team, especially with that improved defense. However, the
Panthers always seem to underplay, so the Bills could come out on top.
Rivera's job is in jeopardy if that's case, though.
Vikings
at Bears: Bears. The Bears definitely surprised me on Sunday. Maybe
they'll start 7-1 this year again and miss the playoffs. If that's the
case, they'll definitely win this game.
Cowboys at Chiefs:
Cowboys. Everybody thinks the Chiefs are great because of their
dominating performance in Week 1 . . . but people overlook the fact they
were playing the horrible, awful Jaguars (who didn't cross the 50 yard
line until the 4th quarter) . . . Now the Cowboys didn't really play
that great, but I'm not convinced about the Chiefs yet.
Dolphins
at Colts: Colts. I was surprised it took the Colts so much effort to
beat the Raiders. The Dolphins took a little while to off the ground on
Sunday, but in the end, they won by a fairly significant margin.
However, I faith that the Colts will play better and therefore, they'll
come out with the win.
Chargers at Eagles: Eagles. Both
teams had second half collapses in their Week 1 matchups, but I think
the Eagles are actually the better team here (DeSean Jackson and LeSean
McCoy played amazing!)
UPSET Rams at Falcons: Rams. I
need an upset pick, and think this one is the most likely. The Rams
played very well against the Cardinals, the Falcons offense looked a
little flat against a sub-par Saints defense.
Redskins at
Packers: Packers. This one is kind of a toss up. RGIII took a little
while to get into the groove on Monday night, and I think it might take a
little bit more time, especially if Alfred Morris doesn't step it up.
The Packers, meanwhile, looked as dangerous as ever, even though they
always find someway to lose to the 49ers.
Browns at
Ravens: Ravens. Ravens will have a bounce back this week against the
Browns. I actually thought the Browns would win last week, and I
think they're definitely better than last year, but they're still
inexperienced and the Ravens should be able to grab this one.
Titans
at Texans: Texans. Either the Texans got off to a slow start or the
Chargers are actually a decent team this year. Whatever the case, I
think the Titans beating the Steelers in Week 1 was a fluke and I
wouldn't expect to see their streak continue here.
LOCK
Saints at Bucs: Saints. The Bucs did not look very good against the
Jets. The Saints, on the other hand, looked great against the Falcons.
This season, expect the Saints to rise to the top of the NFC South.
Oh, and the Bucs will most likely be the cellar dweller.
Lions
at Cardinals: Lions. Reggie Bush really added another dimension to
the Lions offesnse, which was running on all cylinders on Sunday.
Palmer and Fitzgerald definitely had a great first game, but I think
the Lions will pull this one out.
Broncos at Giants:
Broncos. Eli has never beaten Peyton, and I don't think that streak
will end here, especially if the Giants turnover count matches the
number of TD passes Peyton will surely get in this one.
Jaguars
at Raiders: Raiders. Terrelle Pryor was impressive in his opening
game, with the exception of some poor passing decisions. The Jaguars
are just that bad, though. The Raiders will win this game easily.
WASH
49ers at Seahawks: 49ers. This game is going to be great! The 49ers
looked a lot better in their opener than the Seahawks did though, so I
think they're going to pull it out.
Steelers at Bengals:
Bengals. The Steelers looked absolutely TERRIBLE against the Titans.
Bengals, on the other hand, played pretty well and A.J. Green was
amazing. I'd be surprised if the Bengals dropped this one.
