Another week, another tie with Dylan. This is getting ridiculous. I know what I need. I need a refresher. Yeah, that’s it. A refresher will let me re-think of these matchups. I just hope I can be refreshed in time to maybe actually get an upset pick. I think I might have 1 on the year. I need more!!!!
Thursday Night Game
Redskins @ Vikings: REDSKINS – As my pre-season NFC East champ, the Redskins have been a shining beacon of disappointment. However, they have looked more and more in-sync, so maybe this week they can… Nope, more disappointment out of D.C.
Sunday Early Afternoon Games
Jaguars @ Titans: TITANS – You know, if this was in Jacksonville, I could see a random upset happening. However, the Titans are a decent team, which is all it takes against the Jags this year. Being at home will just solidify this win for the Titans.
Eagles @ Packers: EAGLES – This, in no way, is an endorsement of Philly. This is due to the fact that Mr. Discount-Double-Check is out for a few weeks. I’ll give Philly the edge seeing as they seem to have found an offense.
Bills @ Steelers: BILLS – In my UPSET special, I’m picking EJ Manuel to have an amazing comeback and lead his Bills to a win to show they are tougher than their 3-6 record indicates.
Raiders @ Giants: GIANTS – Dad-GUM did Philly rip Oakland a new one last week. That must have hurt all week. Seriously, if Nick Foles can do that, surely Eli “I-swear-I’m-not-adopted” Manning can derp-face his way into a win at home.
Rams @ Colts: COLTS – I’m gonna go ahead and LOCK this matchup in. I know the Rams have been showing promise, but it hasn’t translated into wins, and Indy is a pretty tough team.
Seahawks @ Falcons: SEAHAWKS – I am… unsure about this game at best. It seems pretty obvious, but the line is only 5 points. The Falcons have looked horrible, so what does that say about the Seahawks? I’m saying this right here, Dylan: If the Falcons pull this upset off, the Chiefs belong higher than the Seahawks. Seriously, if the Falcons pull this off, you have to admit I was right in doubting the Seahawks. I’m just saying.
Bengals @ Ravens: RAVENS – You know, I’m going against the lines on a few more this week than I normally do, but I’m feeling good about the Ravens’ chances. I think they’ll have a bounce-back game, especially considering that devastating loss the Bengals just endured. I know the Bengals have had more rest, but I just am feeling the Ravens on this one.
Lions @ Da Bears: DA BEARS – Da Bears are coming off of their bye week, and Cutler returns. However, the Lions have looked good lately. As I said on The Ehle House earlier this week, though, I think this is the point that the Lions start to falter. How confident am I? Not nearly enough. That’s why I’m WASHing this pick out. Sunday Late Afternoon Games
Panthers @ 49ers: 49ERS – The Panthers have been a very good team lately. However, they are going to Candlestick to get burned (took me about 30 seconds to come up with that one, in case you were wondering).
Texans @ Cardinals: CARDINALS – Oh, man, if I could tell you how much I wanted to call this upset… I just don’t think the Texans can win on the road., especially in Arizona. As I’ve stated before, I think Glendale is one of the most underrated home field advantages in the league.
Broncos @ Chargers: BRONCOS – Peyton has had a week off and, while it hasn’t been all smiles and rainbows, I think I will agree with Dylan on this one and say that Jack Del Rio will be more than adequate to fill in for John Fox, which will allow the Broncos to continue to roll… for now…
Sunday Night Game
Cowboys @ Saints – Before I get into my pick, I would just like everyone to know that I have thought long and hard about this matchup. It truly could go either way. On the one hand, this game is in New Orleans, home of one of the best fan bases I’ve ever witnessed. On the other hand, this is the month of November, the month in which Tony Romo is 22-4, the best such record in NFL history. Further, Demarcus Ware is back. New Orleans fans may remember him as “That beast that wrecked our perfect season.” I also keep seeing more and more Saints players on the injury report. This is shaping out to be a huge matchup, and a win either way wouldn’t surprise me. I obviously will be hidden in my room eating wings and drinking beer by myself so as not to either get killed (if the Cowboys win) or mercifully heckled (if the Cowboys lose). However, a pick must be made, and that pick can be summed up in 4 words (ahem): HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS?!?!?!?!
Monday Night Game
Dolphins @ Bucs: DOLPHINS – Wow, ESPN decided that THIS would be a marquee game? Really? Ok, fine. If this is the matchup you want…
This was the weirdest week we've had all season....
