The draft is finally here! This is my final mock of how it will all go down:
1. Texans – Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina. They took DE Mario Williams ten years ago when they were in dire need of a QB, and they'll do the same here, although it'll be an easier decision. Clowney is a freakish, once in a generation athlete, and pairing him with J.J. Watt is just scary. I'm sure they wouldn't mind trading down if the price is right....I don't think they'll find the right price, though.

2. Rams – Greg Robinson, T, Auburn. An unexciting pick, but it fills a great need on the o-line with the best blocker in this draft.
3. Jaguars – Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson. I think there's a 70% chance that the Jags trade down and someone else takes Watkins here (Jags will take a QB a few picks later). Watkins is the best receiving prospect we've seen since A.J. Green, and there's no way he falls past pick #3.
4. Browns – Khalil Mack, OLB, Buffalo. Some are talking about Mack as the #1 pick, but I just don't see it. I personally think linebackers shouldn't be taken in the top 5 at all since the running game is dying, but there are enough teams that will do it for a talent like Mack. I Browns will get a solid producer here, but not one who will significantly contribute to wins now.
5. Raiders – Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA. the Raiders will reach on a defensive playmaker who will likely be a bust, mostly due to the fact that he's playing in Oakland.
6. Falcons – Jake Matthews, T, Texas A&M. I could see them trading up for Mack or even Watkins, but, if they don't, this pick is a great value here and fills a need.
7. Bucs – Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M. Doesn't this just feel right? Some would say I've dropped Manziel too low, others would say I have him too high, but I think this is the Gollilocks draft spot for Johnny Football. He can sit behind McCown for half a season and then take the reigns. The Bucs brought in a lot of free agents this offseason (overspent, in my opinion, but whatever), and they are trying to win now. Sure, there are a lot of concerns around Johnny, but I like his killer instinct and how he plays big in big games. He reminds me a bit of Eli Manning - you can't teach being clutch!
8. Vikings – Blake Bortles, QB, UCF. They need a QB, and he's the best on the board. I don't think any of the QBs in this draft are worth a top-10 pick, but Bortles isn't a horrible reach here. He's built like Big Ben, but can run much better. He's unpolished, but quite an athlete.
9. Bills – Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M. The Bills need help at receiver, and I think they'll pull the trigger here on a receiver with several question marks.
10. Lions – Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma St. If the Lions don't trade up for Watkins, I think they stay put and address their biggest need here with the best corner in the draft.
11. Titans – Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh. The Titans will be thrilled that Donald falls this far, and he's a player who can come and have an immediate impact. The Titans will get much more physical at the line of scrimmage with him in the lineup.
12. Giants – C.J. Mosley, MLB, Alabama. This is a great fit, and great value here for Big Blue. The defensive needs some help, and they'll get it with this pick.
13. Rams – Marqise Lee, WR, USC. Brian Quick and even Tavon Austin haven't really worked out so far, so the third time must be the charm, right? Having already addressed protection for Sam Bradford with the #2 pick, they'll pick up another potential weapon for him here.
14. Bears – Taylor Lewan, T, Michigan. The Bears' o-line has been atrocious the last few years. They've invested so much money in Jay Cutler and need to keep him upright.
15. Steelers – Calvin Pryor, FS, Louisville. With the departure of Ryan Clark, the Steelers will shore up the safety position with this strong mid-round selection.
16. Cowboys – Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama. Easily the most hilarious name in this draft, the Cowboys will be overjoyed to have a player of his talent fall to them mid-round. They get the best player on the board and fill a need - every GM's dream.
17. Ravens – Zack Martin, T, Notre Dame. The Ravens bolster their o-line and hope that Zack has less personal issues than the last tackle named Martin who was a high draft pick.
18. Jets – Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State. The Jets need a lot of help in the secondary, and he'll be the best defensive back on the board at this point.
19. Dolphins – Odell Beckham Jr., WR, LSU. The Dolphins could go a lot of directions with this pick, but Beckham is a good value in this slot. He could be a nice complement to Mike Wallace.
20. Cardinals – Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State. This is probably my most shocking pick of the first round, but there are a lot of GMs out there who are rumored to believe Carr is the best QB in this draft.
21. Packers – Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina. Brees has Graham, Brady has Gronk, Rodgers has....not even Jermichael Finley anymore??? It's time for the Pack to invest in a tight end, and Ebron is the best in the draft. He could very well still be on the board at 21, and, if he is, the Packers need to make this happen.
22. Eagles – Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio State. Nice fit to control the middle of the defense. Fly, Eagles, fly!
23. Chiefs – Stephon Tuitt, DE, Notre Dame. Why not pick up another pass rusher? Make the scary defense even more scary.
24. Bengals – Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State. The Bengals once again get a very talented corner that falls in the draft. Pair him with Kirkpatrick, and you could have a nice tandem.
25. Chargers – Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech. The CB run is on - with Rivers picking up his game, SD needs to find a way to stop the other offense.
26. Browns – Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville. Is the third time the charm for late QB picks for Cleveland? Brady Quinn and Brandon Weeden weren't the answer, but Bridgewater may very well be if he's still on the board at #26....if the Browns don't think he'll be there, they should package this pick and move up to get him.
27. Saints – Xavier Su’a-Filo, G, UCLA. It gets tough to pick this late in the round, but this is a top need for the Saints.
28. Panthers – Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State. This is the dream scenario for Carolina. I think Benjamin may be the best receiver in this draft behind Watkins when we look back at this class in ten years. Benjamin is a weapon, and one which Cam desperately needs with the violent separation from Steve Smith. Panthers fans should be rooting for this.
29. Patriots – Louis Nix III, DT, Notre Dame. Another late first-round steal by the Pats.
31. Broncos – Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State. An RB just barely gets picked in the first round. He'll make a nice one-two punch with Monte Ball in Denver. They need help in the running game with the departure of Knowshon Moreno, and the Broncos are looking to win NOW as Peyton tries to make one last run. Hyde is that player who can contribute immediately.
32. Seahawks – Donte Moncrief, WR, Mississippi. Seattle needs to upgrade its receiving corp, and Moncrief is the best on my board at this point in the draft.
