Young Guns - Week 10

By Dave Schefke (@daveschefke9 on Twitter)

My boy Nick Foles lit up Week 9 with an absolutely epic performance. I don't care if it was Oakland, history shows you how incredibly hard it is for any NFL QB to do that against any NFL opponent. Hopefully we see another strong game from him against the Packers ;)

YOUNG GUNS 3 STARS OF THE WEEK
* C.J. SPILLER- Yes, C.J. Spiller. He's healthy. He ran well against the elite Chiefs defense, and today he runs against the Steelers, who don't have a run defense.
*NICK FOLES- I had faith in this kid while everyone else was still riding the Vick bandwagon or jumping onto Matt Barkley's. After doing what he did last week, why would I not star him going up against a questionable Packer defense? I'm a little biased, but let's be honest...the kid deserves the chance.
*RUSSELL WILSON- The Seahawks are winning, but lately it's been ugly. This team is too good not to get their heads on straight and torch Atlanta, with DangeRuss leading the way. Start him over a lot of other QBs this week.

NOTABLES:
EDDIE LACY- He should get points against the Eagles defense. The reason I don't have him top 3 this week is because without Aaron Rodgers and guys like Cobb, the offense is sure to be much less dynamic.
JAKE LOCKER- Quietly having a solid year. Could surprise people against the Jags.
CASEY KEENUM- This kid has been extremely impressive, but he's up against the Cards defense. Most experts are saying to bench him. Why I think he could STILL have a good game? This kid almost beat Luck, and Johnson and DeAndre are both capable of taking over a game single-handedly.
DeANDRE HOPKINS- With Andre coming off absolute Beastmode, teams will have to give him top coverage, leaving this kid, who is a legit #1 receiver anyways, mismatched and with plenty of Fantasy equity.
KENNY STILLS- Shootout in the making, and this kid has been electric.  Plus, Colston is out, meaning he'll get more targets.
RYAN TANNEHILL / LAMAR MILLER- Should get plenty of fantasy chances vs. the Bucs.
TIM WRIGHT- Who? Just watch and you'll see why.
KEENAN ALLEN- Denver and San Diego should turn into another shootout, and Rivers has been great this year. Keenan Allen has emerged as a legit NFL receiver and while I have my money on the Broncos winning the game, there are plenty of Fantasy points up for grabs by playing this kid.
T-RICH- He seems to be getting on track with the Colts dynamic offense, plus the Rams have no run defense.
ALFRED MORRIS- Running against the ViQueens.
DEMARYIUS THOMAS- Shootout win against the Chargers.
T.Y. HILTON- Just because he's one of the most underrated receivers in the league, with an elite QB, against a non-elite defense this week.
ALSHON JEFFERY- One of the NFL's best young receivers against a questionable Lions secondary.
COBY FLEENER- I like this kid every week for the TE position where he isn't playing an elite D.
GOLDEN TATE- DangeRuss will have a big game against the Falcons, and this kid should be on the receiving end of at least a few big plays and a TD.
GIO BERNARD- My favorite rookie RB this year from Day 1. His recent highlight TD shows how good this kid is going to be, and yes, he's healthy.
RUEBEN RANDLE- Looking for at least a TD from this guy against the Raiders.
KENDALL WRIGHT/JUSTIN HUNTER- The Titans are playing the Jags. Nuff said.
