Week 10 Picks
by Dylan Ehle on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 8:32pm ·
I had my best week of the year last week, going 13-2 and hitting my lock and upset while using my wash pick on one I missed. Here we go for week 10!
UPSET: Colts at Jaguars: JAGUARS. They
will be my upset this week because they have a tendency to play big
when they are home underdogs on prime-time (see the Ravens game last
year). Also, there really isn't another attractive option for an upset
this week.
Raiders at Ravens: RAVENS. I don't see them losing this game at home, even thought the Raiders have looked better recently.
Broncos at Panthers: BRONCOS. I think that the Panthers will make this a close game, but it's tough to pick against Peyton right now.
Giants at Bengals: GIANTS. I like Eli on the road here, although I think Cinci is due for a win, which scares me a bit.
Titans at Dolphins: DOLPHINS. I was considering making this my wash....then I found out that Jake Locker is starting. That makes me pick the Dolphins straight up.
Lions at Vikings: LIONS. The Lions are on a roll, and the Vikings are in a nosedive. Both trends will continue this Sunday.
Bills at Patriots: PATRIOTS. I can't pick against the Patriots at home against any team, let alone the Bills. This was a be less of a game than last time, and that is saying something.
Falcons at Saints: FALCONS. I will swallow my pride and pick the Falcons, because I know I'll be miserable if I take the Saints and they lose.
Chargers at Bucs: BUCS. They are one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now, and they will take this one with a little help from Phillip Rivers turnovers.
Jets at Seahawks: SEAHAWKS. J-E-T-S....wait we flew out west and forgot how to play football as every team does that goes to Seattle.
Cowboys at Eagles: COWBOYS. They will take this game from their divisional rival, and I don't think it will even be close. Tex will be a happy man this week.
Rams at 49ers: 49ERS. This will be another boring NFC West game with under 35 points scored - possibly with all of them going to the 9ers.
WASH: Texans at Bears: BEARS. Normally, I would take the Bears straight up as their defense has been on fire, but the Texans coming off their bye all rested scares me. I'll make it my wash.
LOCK: Chiefs at Steelers: STEELERS. Does anyone see Pittsburgh losing MNF at Heinz Field to the worst team in the league? No, I didn't think so.
Last week: 13-2
Season record: 79-54
Points: 21

Led by at least 4 receptions from Cecil Shorts, the Jags will pull off the upset at home on TNF.
