This week is a special week. It is a week of Thanksgiving. So, I want to let everyone know what I'm thankful about this year.

Texans @ Lions: TEXANS - I'm thankful that there is a good Texas football team this year. I'm also thankful that Detroit will keep sucking as I do not like Jim Schwartz.

Redskins @ Cowboys: COWBOYS - I'm thankful for November in general. That is when my team is at its best.

Patriots @ Jets: PATRIOTS - I'm thankful that Tim Tebow cannot be blamed for his team's suckiness. I'm thankful that each week draws closer to Tebow time.

Raiders @ Bengals: BENGALS - I am so thankful that the Bengals have made me happy the last 2 weeks. I'm thankful for the Raiders for reminding me why they're always underdogs (hint: it's cuz they suck).

Steelers @ Browns: BROWNS - Dadgumit, I would have SWORN that I was gonna be thankful that this would have been my upset pick. A 1 point line? Come on, Vegas, help me out a little. I am thankful to find out that Charlie Batch is still playing. It makes me feel less old.

Bills @ Colts: COLTS - I'm thankful that the Colts are doing well just to ensure that they get their hearts broken by Peyton.

Broncos @ Chiefs: BRONCOS - I'm thankful that Peyton is making such a comeback. I'm also thankful for this locked in pick.

Titans @ Jaguars: TITANS - I'm thankful that the Jags pushed the Texans to their limit so that they can improve. I'm also thankful that the Jags gave Chad Henne a chance. He deserves one.

Vikings @ Bears: Ok, before I comment on this matchup, and because I'm posting now and probably won't be able to change this once news breaks, if Jay Cutler starts, then I pick the Bears. If he is out due to his concussion, I am picking the Vikings. Now, I am thankful that AP has recovered and bounced back as well as he has.

Falcons @ Buccaneers: BUCCANEERS - Once again, an underdog matchup that I can't claim as an upset. I am, however, thankful that the Falcons are gonna get the snot kicked out of them, I'm also thankful for wash-out picks, because this is mine.

Seahawks @ Dolphins: DOLPHINS - I am thankful for a Pete Carroll loss when all is said and done.

Ravens @ Chargers: RAVENS - I am thankful that this newest debacle might FINALLY get Norv fired. He's overstayed his welcome in San Diego. They need to shake it up. This season has given the best excuse they'll have for a while (until next year). I am also thankful that the Ravens are winning.

49ers @ Saints: SAINTS - I am thankful for the resurgence of the Saints. They will continue to mount impressive wins this week, and I am thankful for their continued Cinderella setup of a season.

Rams @ Cardinals: RAMS - I would not have guessed this matchup would be a battle for the bottom of the division, but I am thankful that both teams have bright and promising futures. I am only picking the Rams due to the fact that the Cards are playing a rookie in the middle of the season.

Packers @ Giants: PACKERS - Wait, WHAT?!?!?!?! The Giants are favored? I am thankful for Vegas screwing that one up and giving me an easy upset pick, of which I have nailed a lot this year.

  1. Just to point out: I did say that if Cutler starts, I pick the Bears. He started, and I picked the Bears. Just wanted to clarify

  2. Yep, I had put you down for that as soon as Cutler was activated.

  3. Oh, and since I forgot to include the MNF game, here is my additional thankfulness:

Panthers @ Eagles: PANTHERS - I am thankful that the Eagles suck enough to ensure the Cowboys won't be the cellar dwellers this year. I am also thankful that Cam Newton remembered how to play so we could see the so-not-overdone-Superman-shirt-rip move he does. Yeah... even Superman isn't as lame as you, Cam. I'm thankful Cam has made me realize this so that I can have more love for Superman.
