Week 7 Picks

I was awful last week, going 5-9, but at least I hit my lock. When Vegas goes 4-10, you know it's a weird week. Here we go....
Seahawks at 49ers: 49ERS. I didn't see the Seahawks winning on the road, and I was right - however, they made it a lot closer than I expected.
Titans at Bills: BILLS. After a big win against the Cardinals, the Bills will keep rolling against a bad Titans team.
Cowboys at Panthers: PANTHERS. They have kept games close against good teams, and I think they can win this one at home fresh off their bye. The line is +2.5 right now, and I will change this to my upset if it hits +3.
Ravens at Texans: TEXANS. I contemplated making this my lock - the Ravens are beat up, and the Texans will come roaring back after a humiliating loss at home.
WASH: Browns at Colts: BROWNS. I just don't know which team will show up on either side, so I'll wash this out. I think the Browns are better than most think, especially now that they have Joe Haden back, but the Colts also have the ability to play lights-out (see Green Bay Packers). I'll take the Browns, but I'm throwing this one out!
Cardinals at Vikings: VIKINGS. I like the Vikings at home, but I think this will be a very close and low-scoring affair. Let's see what John Skelton can do with this chance to win his job back.
Redskins at Giants: GIANTS. I almost washed out this game, just because the Giants have this thing for losing to the Redskins. However, I think that Big Blue is a roll and will be able to avoid slipping up against their division rivals.
LOCK: Packers at Rams: PACKERS. The Packers showed what they're made of an Sunday night against the Texans - they will roll over the reeling Rams.
Saints at Bucs: SAINTS. This should be a shootout, and I think the Saints will get the last shot and win.
Jets at Patriots: PATRIOTS. I don't see them losing this one at home, but look for Rex Ryan to make it a game.
UPSET: Jaguars at Raiders: JAGUARS. This is a homer pick, but none of the other upsets this week looked appealing to me except for maybe the Browns...but their line moved to +2.5 by the time I picked. I'll take the Jags coming off their bye to win a close one.
Steelers at Bengals: STEELERS. I may change this one prior to kickoff, but I think the Steelers can win on the road here.
Lions at Bears: BEARS. I considered making this my lock - I think the Bears will win this by double-digits. Their defense is so good, and Cutler should be good for at least two passing TDs against that porous secondary.
Last week: 5-9
Season record: 48-43
Points: -1

Newton will lead the Panthers to a home win over Dallas this week.
