Colts-Patriots Preview

@PaleEhle

The only game of the Divisional Round that actually features two division champions facing off is this week's matchup between the Colts and Patriots in Foxboro.  Andrew Luck leads a Colts team that is fresh off the second largest comeback in playoff history, while the Patriots come into the contest rested from their bye week and ready to play.

Some are viewing this game as a passing of the torch from the highly decorated Brady to the rising, already polished star of Andrew Luck.  But it's just not time yet.

The Colts defense is atrocious, and the Patriots consistently find defense schemes to take down the best QBs.  This game against Andrew Luck will be no different, as expertly contrived schemes will keep him frustrated all day long.  Brady is the best in the business in the postseason, and if Alex Smith can put up 44 points on this Colts defense, I'm scared to see what Brady will do.

Yes, the Patriots have been decimated by injuries, and will definitely be feeling the loss of Gronkowski.  But the Patriots are flying under the radar this year, which is crazy, and they'll use that as fuel not only to take down the Colts, but to fight their way past the Broncos (ok, maybe the Chargers...) all the way to the Super Bowl.  It's been a great run for the Colts, but it ends in Foxboro tonight.

Prediction:
Patriots 41
Colts 24
