Dylan's Week 7 Picks

I gained a little ground on Tex last week, here are my picks as I try to pull ahead!

Seahawks at Cardinals:  SEAHAWKS.  I started the week off right with a win on TNF.  I thought about locking this one, but chickened out at the last minute.

LOCK:  Bills at Dolphins: DOLPHINS.  I think the Dolphins pass rush will be too much for young Thad Lewis to do much today.  I'll take them as my lock in a week where it's tough to find a good lock.

UPSET:  Cowboys at Eagles:  COWBOYS.  Not even Tex thought the Cowboys would be the best team in the NFC East.  They’ll begin to take control here with a win over the second place Eagles.

Bucs at Falcons: FALCONS.  I hate having to pick them, but they’re better than the Bucs and will get the W.

Rams at Panthers:  PANTHERS.  “Oh, the Rams will win the division and the Seahawks will miss the playoffs!  I’m Tex, duh-huh!”  The Panthers will win this game by double digits and move into position to begin challenging for a wildcard in the NFC.  The Rams will drop a game lower and their season will begin to be a question of whether they can beat out the Cardinals for the cellar.

Chargers at Jaguars:  CHARGERS.  There’s a lot of hype about the Jags getting the upset at home this week, but I don’t see it.  Rivers will have a field day against the Jags.

Patriots at Jets:  PATRIOTS.  The Jets have overachieved (as have the Pats, actually), but look for the Patriots to assert their control over their division with a win here.

Bengals at Lions:  BENGALS.  I think Dalton and Green will take care of business on the road.

Bears at Redskins:  BEARS.  I understand the hype around the Bears, but Marshall and Jeffrey will destroy the Redskins secondary.

49ers at Titans: 49ERS.  They will get a solid win on the road against an overachieving Tennessee team.

Texans at Chiefs:  CHIEFS.  The Chiefs are not going undefeated, or even 14-2, but the Texans have so many problems that I can’t see them winning this week.

Browns at Packers:  PACKERS.  This is a such a trap game, and the Browns defense will cause some problems for the Pack.  I think the Packers win a close one.

WASH:  Steelers at Ravens:  RAVENS.  They are both so bad, and I can never guess which team will show up.  I’ll take the Ravens in my wash.

Broncos at Colts:  BRONCOS.  I can’t wait to watch this game tonight.  I’ll take the Broncos to win by a few scores.

Vikings at Giants:  GIANTS.  The Giants will get their first win at home against the Vikings.  Three turnovers or more by Josh Freeman.

  1. Yeah, I'm willing to admit I might have been slightly off in regards to the NFC West...
