Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?! Don't talk to me about playoffs!
Yes, yes, it's the playoffs now, and I was 1 game away from getting my Cowboys division pick right. Oh well. As always, there's always next year... Well, I finished 166-90-1. That means I beat Chris Berman, Keyshawn Johnson, Mark Schlereth, Adam Schefter, AND I tied with Coach Ditka. WHAT?!?!?!?! Anyway, let's see if I can do even better in the playoffs. Let's begin with today's (Saturday's) matchups:
Bengals @ Texans: TEXANS - Yeah, I know, the Texans have been trending downwards, and the Bengals have been looking great. However, I do believe the Texans will bounce back. You got Arian Foster who is a beast, second only to Mr. Adrian Peterson, and Matt Schaub is ready to quiet the noise that he can't handle the load. As long as he has Andre Johnson to throw to, he will be just fine.
Vikings @ Packers: PACKERS - Oh man, do I want to pick the Vikings or what? AP is ridiculous, but the Packers are stacked. Rodgers, Jones, and Cobb to name a few, and that's just on offense. I think it'll be close, but I gotta give it to the Pack at home. Don't forget, the Pack also have the Discount Double Check.
Sunday matchups:
Colts @ Ravens: RAVENS - Boy, do I hate to see the Colts' Cinderella season end here; I'd much rather it end in Denver. However, the Ravens have Mr. Jazz Hands himself returning for his last playoff run. He's had lots of rest, and that is dangerous for the Colts. Flacco needs to not be the self-proclaimed best QB and just be Flacco. This will a fun game, but the Ravens advance.
Seahawks @ Redskins: REDSKINS - You know, I was wary of picking all home teams this week; I was thinking there's gonna be ONE upset. Then I was informed of this line. The Seahawks have won 2 games away from Seattle; the Redskins have won 7 straight. Seriously? I know my challenges to Vegas have often blown up in my face, but I don't care. VEGAS!!!! YOU'RE WRONG ON THIS ONE!!!! Redskins roll with RG3.
